How do I apply?
Applicants must complete the EC Job Stimulus Fund Application Form and submit the completed application form together with the following required attachments:
Where a company has not yet begun its operation, but is certain that operation will commence within three (3) months of a successful application, the approved business plan which was submitted to its financiers must be attached, as well as notification of the success of its application for financing from a registered financial institution
Please note that approval by ECDC of any incentive sought in this application shall be subject to ECDC being satisfied:
- Copy of Company Registration Documents (CIPC)
- Latest Audited Financial Statements in the case of company
- Latest Financial Statements together with its’ Accountants Report in case of a Close Corporation
- Latest management account (at least 2 months before date of application)
- Tax Clearance Certificate
- BBBEE Rating Certificate
- Confirmation of banking details

- of the merits of approving the incentive related to the activity set out in the application
- that the approval is in accordance with general EC Jobs Stimulus Fund policy
- that the approval is in accordance with the relevant statutory requirements and that ECDC has sufficient available funds
Should it not be possible to include any of the above documents, please indicate as such with a suitable reason why in the relevant place within the application form.
Application Period
Applications for the Incentive funding shall be accepted during the period 15th October 2012 to 30th November 2012. Only complete application forms with all the requisite attachments shall be considered.
